Civil Engineering Services

The Civil Engineering Division of CCA uses engineering principals to produce cost effective designs for a wide spectrum of engineering projects. The process includes the following: feasibility studies, preliminary engineering design, final engineering design, construction specification, on-site inspection and construction management services.

CCA's expertise includes the following disciplines:

By providing quality services to area clients and appearing before local agencies as professionals for over 40 years, CCA has earned a highly regarded reputation for providing complete and professional plans and documents. CCA's commitment to quality continues today and is evident in the products we produce.

CCA continues to make substantial investments in the purchase of state-of-the-art computer equipment to assist in the design and drafting of plans. Our computer systems and software are directly linked to our survey department helping streamline our "field to finish" design process. We strive to make this procedure as efficient as possible and our personnel are some of the most experienced available.

CCA's Engineers are familiar with and utilize computerized engineering programs for hydraulic analysis, hydrology, retaining wall design, cost estimating and other tasks. We have prepared plans for a variety of projects including simple driveway crossings, major subdivisions and road construction, industrial parks, both major and neighborhood shopping centers and earth mining operations. Our plans and calculations have been reviewed and approved by numerous agencies including local Wetland, Zoning and Planning Commissions, the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, and the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.

CCA's plans and calculations are considered to be state-of-the-art and several local Wetland Commissions in the past have used our erosion control plans and reports as models for other engineers.
