Waste Management / Regulatory Compliance Programs

CCA personnel have been involved in hazardous materials/waste management and related projects since RCRA regulations were promulgated in November 1981, and have provided engineering and geology services for National Priorities List Sites. Services include RCRA Part A and Part B Permit Applications, RCRA closure and groundwater monitoring/compliance plans, hazardous waste management training, waste analysis plans, inspection plans, closure supervision, soil and groundwater studies and remediation, contaminated river/lagoon sediment dredging and dewatering studies, OSHA health and safety plans, wastewater discharge permit application preparation, management and engineering for Super-fund sites, and consulting on other associated regulatory compliance issues.

In addition, our services include preparation of spill prevention, control and countermeasures (SPCC) plans, storm-water pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), and associated monitoring and design services. Air emission reporting and fugitive emission studies/permitting and associated Clean Air Act (CAA) services are also offered.

All members of CCA's environmental services staff have completed 40 hr OSHA health and safety training and annual 8 hr refresher courses in accordance with 29 CFR Part 1910.120.
